The Research Analyst will contribute to activities, analysis, and detailed reporting of BtoC and BtoB market research. He/she will provide research input and coordinate research activities relevant to company and client business projects. Duties include:
 |
Coordination of market research projects, both qualitative and quantitative, in areas of customer satisfaction, loyalty, relationship marketing, global industry trends, buyer behavior, brand research, regional and global markets, and product concepts |
 |
Synthesize primary and secondary research in order to impact key decision making for global and
regional clients |
 |
Gather and synthesize information from a variety of sources to represent or address issues, or to
answer targeted client questions |
 |
Work on projects to advance product, place, price, promotion and positioning strategies and tactics
for client product and service offerings |
 |
Analyze operational reports and financial data to determine predictability of product and service
demand in dynamic markets |
 |
Manage data feeds and data warehouse tools |

| Professional Experience: |
 |
2+ years working knowledge of Java, J2EE, XML, HTML, CSS, Javascript, MySQL, Oracle. |
 |
Exposure to AJAX and open source applications. |

To troubleshoot existing web application. |

| Professional Experience: |
 |
3 - 5 years of working experience in designing, developing and maintaining website
and or portals using latest technologies |

Strong technical expertise in J2EE, Java, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring Framework and Web services. |

Working experience with more than one database such as MySQL,
Oracle and OR Mapping like Hibernate. |
 |
Expert in design using UML |
 |
Working knowledge of Eclipse, NetBeans, AJAX, Swing. |
 |
Exposure in Design Patterns and open source applications. |
 |
Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance. |

Understand client’s requirements and architect portal or website to fulfill their business needs. |

To assist in project implementation and maintenance of systems and services. |

To produce system and technical documentation. |

| Professional Experience: |
 |
5+ years of total working experience in designing, developing and maintaining websites
and portals with at least 2 years as technical/project lead. |

Strong technical expertise in J2EE, Java, XML, Spring Framework and Web Services. |
 |
Working experience with more than one database such as MySQL, Oracle, and OR Mapping like Hibernate. |
 |
Expert in analysis and design using UML |
 |

Exposure in Design Patterns, J2ME and open source applications. |
 |
Worked with several application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere. |
| Responsibilities: |

Participate in all phase of SDLC activities including business requirements gathering and analysis, system design, database design, system development and deployment, unit testing and technical or system documentation. |

Be a mentor to the team. |
 |
Troubleshoot existing web-based applications and provide workable solutions. |
 |
Ensure timely delivery of assigned work. |
| Requirements: |
 |
Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent |
 |
Have advance understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML, Dreamweaver,
Flash,
Javascript, AJAX, etc.) as well as application level web technologies. |
 |
Exposure in e-commerce, web marketing and digital advertising. |
 |
Strong analysis capability, experience in improving usability, navigation, traffic flow of website or portals. |
 |
Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with a meticulous approach to work. |
 |
