Research Analyst

We have immediate opportunities for Research Analysts at our corporate office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Research Analyst will contribute to activities, analysis, and detailed reporting of BtoC and BtoB market research. He/she will provide research input and coordinate research activities relevant to company and client business projects. Duties include:

	Coordination of market research projects, both qualitative and quantitative, in areas of customer satisfaction, loyalty, relationship marketing, global industry trends, buyer behavior, brand research, regional and global markets, and product concepts
	Synthesize primary and secondary research in order to impact key decision making for global and regional clients
	Gather and synthesize information from a variety of sources to represent or address issues, or to answer targeted client questions
	Work on projects to advance product, place, price, promotion and positioning strategies and tactics for client product and service offerings
	Analyze operational reports and financial data to determine predictability of product and service demand in dynamic markets
	Manage data feeds and data warehouse tools


Requirements:
	Bachelors Degree required, MBA desirable
	3+ years market research experience in retail and/or with service provider organization
	Passion for understanding the customer and their needs
	Experience with retail, finance/banking, insurance, consumer products or manufacturing preferred
	Knowledge of database marketing and data warehouse management
	Team player with superior verbal and written communication skills
	Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis with tools such as Excel, SPSS, SAS, STATISTICA or similar.
	Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
	Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
	Chinese speaking and reading capability a plus

Art Director

Professional Experience:
	Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, QuarkXpress, - PowerPoint/Keynote and other programs usually required to apply.
	HTML, PHP and other Web experiences (if any).
	7+ Years of experience in visual design.
	A solid and creative on-line portfolio showcasing innovative concepts and interactive design solutions.
	Ability to lead & produce advanced visual designs.

Web Programmer

Professional Experience:
	This position requires at least 2+ years experience in the IT and programming fields, preferably in an agency environment
	A background in software engineering is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:
	Software and database development for the Joomla & Wordpress platform and similar application, testing and documentation of tools for data extraction, data mining, and reporting.

Requirements:

Professional Experience:

System/Solutions Architect

Professional Experience:
	Required skill(s): Experience in software & web application development using Java, JSP, EJB, XML, J2SE, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, Apache, Oracle, etc.

Responsibilities:
	Analyzing, design and develop business solutions that deliver based on the requirement.

GUI Designer

Professional Experience:
	Minimum of 3 years of experience as a graphic designer in the following areas: Interactive, agency creative and graphic design where minimum of two years of experience in Web design and online marketing.

Responsibilities:
	The Designer is responsible for the creation of all online visual design, including typography, visual concept, logo and icon design for the Internet and interactive platforms. S/he will effectively communicate and coordinate with the solution architect to ensure that the visual design communicates the desired message, and functions successfully for varying technical and performance specifications. The candidate must be a team player for the creative aspects of a project and have demonstrated strong business acumen.

Requirements:
	Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
	Fluency in current graphic design practices and web production software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects and DreamWeaver.

Database Designer

Professional Experience:
	5+ years of experience with SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL.

Responsibilities:
	Analyze and design technical specifications. Develop software products using the technical specifications.
	Develop and execute test plans.
	Distribute code from one environment to another, utilizing software development life-cycle concepts and methods.
	Manage production moves, including the coordination of post-production testing and verification.
	Proactively initiating and following through on process improvement and system refinement initiatives.

Requirements:
	Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science related studies.
	Strong knowledge in stored procedures, database replication, database security and permissions, backup and recovery.
	Database performance tuning, monitoring and capacity planning.
	Installation, configuration, migration and upgrading of SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL related products.
	Maintaining the data dictionary, documentation and standards.
	Knowledge of PowerBuilder and UNIX shell-scripting techniques is an advantage.
	Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Be able to quickly grasp business concepts and translate them into technical design.
	Be able to work well in a team environment while simultaneously assuming ownership and personal accountability for assigned tasks and projects.
	Have a strong ability to be organized, manage time and handle multiple tasks/projects and priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
	Have knowledge and practical experience in following proper software development life-cycle methodologies.
